課程概述 |
This course is designed for advance undergraduates and graduate level students who is interested in the fields of molecular evolution, molecular systematics, evolutionary biology, bioinformatics, and comparative genomics. We will introduce web resources and computational tools commonly used in major areas of molecular evolution, including analysis methods for reconstructing phylogeny using likelihood-based approaches and Bayesian statistics, and methods for estimating the age of speciation as well as detecting adaptive evolution. Computer-based exercises offer the students opportunities to get familiar with programs used in solving scientific questions. |
